What CCTV cameras alone give you

A set of cameras, on their own, records footage. That's it. For a lot of small properties, that's genuinely enough. A shop with one entrance and low foot traffic doesn't necessarily need more than "we can check the footage if something goes missing."

What a full surveillance system adds

A full system takes those same cameras and connects them to the pieces that make security active instead of just recorded:
